John Stallings was born in Griffin, GA in November of 1958. The second of 6 children, John moved to Knoxville in 1960 where he grew up in the shadow of the Smoky Mountains.
John’s love for music began at an early age ”My dad taught me a few basic guitar chords when I was about 10, and the rest is history. I’ve always loved to sing, I believe it is the purest form of communication. There is nothing that touches the heart like a great tune, and a great lyric.”
John has a passion for his craft that is rare in country music today. His warm baritone voice, captures the essence of a song and delivers it to the listener in a style reminiscent of the classic greats.
In an age of hard-hitting, boot bangin’, amp cranking country music, it’s good to know there’s still room for the country crooner and John fits the bill just perfectly
